Greg is a chartered accountant with over 20 years of experience in the City, including with Accenture and KPMG, as Director of Finance at London Business School, and as the former UK CEO of Cubane Consulting, now part of the Nous Group. He holds an MA (oxon) from Oxford University in Economics and Management

Gassia Yardim

Vice-Chair

Gassia Yardim is Trustee of Armenian House and Secretary of the Armenian House Ladies Committee. Born in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), she moved to London and taught at Kevork Tahta School from opening in 1978 until 2006 (28 years), the last 6 years of which were as Deputy Head Teacher. She served as Chair of the Armenian Youth Society, Chair of the Melkonian Alumni, was a founding member and Secretary of the AYA (AGBU), and an active member of both the Ararat Song and Dance Ensemble and Armenian Street Festival team. Her passion is serving the Armenian community in London.

Arda Eghiayan

Secretary

Arda Eghiayan is a non-practising solicitor, having trained at Allen & Overy LLP, and works as the Contracts Manager at Wigmore Medical Ltd, a leading pharmacy and aesthetics distributor in London. She is also a trustee of the Armenian Institute.

Armine Afrikian

Treasurer

Armine Afrikian is a Chartered Certified Accountant with over 30 years of working experience in the Banking, Private, Public sectors, NGO’s and currently as an Auditor for the Government Organisations and National Quality Surveillance in England.
She holds MSc Information, Management and Finance, ACCA, BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance and BSc (Hons) Chemistry and Pharmacology. She has been volunteering for various charities in the UK last 25 years.

Aram Karakashian

Trustee

Aram is the Executive Director of Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions at Imperial College Business School in London with responsibility for the enrolment of 2000+ students to a portfolio of MSc, MBA, Summer School, and Undergraduate programmes.

 His expertise lies in market development, global outreach, and pipeline diversification strategies. Aram has extensive experience in the Higher Education sector with previous roles at London Business School and sits on industry advisory committees for Forte, EMBAC and GMAC.

Arline Medazoumian

Trustee

Arline Medazoumian has been an active member in the Armenian community for the last 30 years in London. She was Vice-Chairman of AGBU London for 8 years, a member of the of St Peter’s Armenian Ladies Church Committee, Tekeyan Ladies Committee and taught at the Kevork Tahta Armenian School. She studied Interior design at the Beirut University College and was an Administrative Manager at the Health Department for the Kuwait Embassy in London.

Steve Mouradian

Trustee

Steve is a chartered architect, and in the past worked on commercial projects whilst at Chapman Taylor, and now concentrates on building design and restoration for bespoke projects.

 

 He has been working with Armenian charities for many years, starting with CAIA in Acton. He is currently advising HAAF London branch on projects in Armenia, and is a trustee at St. Sarkis Property CIO.

Maral Ovanessoff

Trustee

Maral draws on diverse experiences including studying Chemistry at Imperial College in London and at the ESPCI in Paris. Starting with an internship at the Armenian Embassy in the UK, her work experience ranges from European Commission funding projects to Goldman Sachs Equities and freelance translation. She now manages The Benlian Trust and The M & A Essefian Trust on behalf of the trustees. Both charities award academic scholarships to Armenian university students. Maral also works part-time for a small architectural business.

Armen Topalian

Trustee

Armen Topalian is the UK Market Director for Mars Food. He has worked for Mars, Birds Eye and Unilever across a number of roles in the Consumer Goods area. As well as Armenian House, he has been involved in Land and Culture UK having spent time in participated in Land and Culture's programs in Armenia.
